On a Windows Server 2008 virtual machine you must fully uninstall MOSS then make the changes in the MSDTC and then reinstall MOSS. To get to the DTC on a Server 2008 Machine: Admin Tools, Component Services, Expand Component Services, Expand Computers, Expand My Computer, Expand Distributed Transaction Coordinator, Right-Click Local DTC, Select 'Security' tab, check 'Network DTC Access' box, check 'Allow Remote Clients' box, OK, restart OK Hope this helps. To get to the DTC on a Server 2008 Machine:
